"Room felt 10 years old even though the hotel isn't, very strange. Dirty tub, maybe surfaces dusty, carpet quite stained. A green light flashed in the room all night. AC was terribly noisy. Walls let every other noise through. Daily housekeeping but they didn't replace TP!"
"While the hotel itself was fine, say 8 out of 10, an error with the booking by Hotels.com made the stay unsatisfactory. It is unlikely I will book another Wyndham property and also probable I will no longer book through Hotels.com or Expedia. "
"This room looks nothing like the actual room. The lock on the door had been busted open and putted back in place. Whole in the walls where just covered with a piece or dry wall and screwed in. Everything was old. The heater was in several pieces on the floor and I would swear it was being used as a druggie place. It was dark and very scary."
"Driving up, the first words I said were - WOW, that place looks sad; you can tell from the road. Of course, I was mistaken to take the cheapest place in town. The lady at the desk was very friendly. She offered up some nice restaurants around town. GF went to the bathroom during check-in; when she came back, she was hesitant about staying. I disagreed and insisted. Boy, was I wrong. We carried our luggage to our room - the Executive Suite, by the way. Along the upper walkway to the room, I noted broken windows of other rooms along the way. There was a trashcan full of sand outside a room, full of butts. Upon opening our door, it was musty. GF immediately inspected the sheets. Dirty, so she asked for new ones. They were promptly provided. She also had trouble with the TV; the maid fellow helped with that also. In the room, I noted tape over a vent in the bathroom, peeling texture on the ceiling, and hard mattresses. The Wi-Fi worked great! The temperature control system also worked admirably. That's it. Getting up in the morning, with socks off, I noticed the floor was sticky. Getting in the shower, the hot water faucet worked perfectly; the cold-water knob was stripped. That took some serious jimmying to get a good temp for a shower. I left the water going so that my GF could have a nice shower also. Basically, the place is a dump, and they know they got my money - ONCE! GF went in for coffee before departure; she said it tasted like vinegar. Avoid, evade, eschew, shun, skip!"
