"The hotel is right next to the national park so great for hiking. The hotel is also in the centre of Saariselkä which is compact and pedestrian friendly so this makes it easy if you’re using buses to get in and out of town and don’t have a vehicle. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are good. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Be aware that activities book out and so if you want to do more than hiking you’ll need to plan and book ahead."

"This accommodation was the perfect end to our trip to Finland, the cabin was genuinely faultless, it was spacious and cosy, with a very comfy and warm feeling. The kitchen was was well equipped with pots and utensils etc for if you wanted to stay in and cook. The bed was comfy with a lovely view to wake up to. The shower and toilet facilities were immaculately clean with! Genuinely cannot pick fault with this place. The hot tub was the perfect end to every day and we even found time to jump in before our flight home. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were attentive if you needed the to be and the dropped off a lovely breakfast each day for us. The only quibble I had was the drive from the main road to the accommodation, the track felt like an afterthought or was maybe unfinished as it was littered with potholes. But that is her only issue I can find with the accommodation. Overall would definitely recommend and would without question stay there again! "

The food was incredible, and although the location is slightly remote, it hardly matters when the hotel’s facilities are of such a high standard. Breakfast was next level — a beautifully presented buffet with plenty of choice, alongside freshly prepared hot options. The spa was also a fantastic experience, clearly well maintained and thoughtfully managed. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and it’s clear the owners have put a great deal of care and thought into every detail of the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
