Smooth transitions and spacious room. Breakfast was good and overall an excellent experience. The last time I stayed here was around 2008 when the hotel wasn’t even open. We were fog bound at Sofia airport and had nowhere to stay, only a crippy little B&B that Bulgaria Air offered us. We persuaded the manager to let us stay whilst they were staff training! Great night then and loved it again now 17 years later!

The hotel provided a free shuttle service from the airport and the drive hung around when my fight was delayed. A large compliamentary bowl of fruit was left in my room which was a nice touch.

We’ve been staying at this hotel every time we fly in or out of Sofia and we always have a great experience. The hotel staff is friendly, rooms are spacious and spotless clean, beds are comfortable. There is free parking and it’s easy to get around by car or taxi. We’ve used the hotel airport shuttle in the past but we had a car this time, otherwise it was a great option to get to the airport. Overall the excellent hotel and they’ve continuously kept the level of service over the years. Highly recommend!

Good location. Helpful employees. Appreciate the shuttle. For me the exercise facilities are the most important and they only have a single functional aerobic machine. This is enough to make me likely not come back.

Way overpriced for what you get. First of all the hotel hasn’t been renovated since probably 1990s or 2000s. The rooms are dark and barely lit and only basic toiletry provided. No hair conditioner for example. The service is appropriate to the era: we had an early flight and had to be in the airport at 6:50am. When we tried to book the advertised “free airport transfer” we’ve been told the the shuttle departs only at the beginning of an hour, so we had a choice either wake up another hour earlier and spend an extra hour sitting in the airport, or get there late. We chose ordering a taxi at our own expense. Breakfasts are an extra option like in many hotels in Bulgaria and we had prepaid one when we booked the room. But despite the fact that the hotel is close to the airport and many travelers choose it because of this, the hotel does not offer nether early breakfasts (before 7:00 on the weekends) nor lunchboxes, nor any other form of compensation for the service for which they took extra money but never provided. I would advice everyone to avoid this hotel. There are good alternatives in the same area which offer way better accommodation for the same or lower price.
