"The guest farm property is very beautiful and the temperatures were cooler than Windhoek. "Great place. The views are stunning, the food was great, full bar and the staff were very friendly. The manager even drove me to another lodge twice to get transport to the park and later to get a bus back to Windhoek. I'd definitely come back to this place!"

"We hadn't originally intended staying in Solitaire, but rescheduling issues meant we slotted this lodge in at the last minute. I hadn't been optimistic about what we'd find - after all, Solitaire is a small, very remote place. But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the rooms comfortable, a good size and in excellent condition; the restaurant area is terrific and the food very good; the surroundings are quite charming, with a scattered collection of old cars. Highly recommended if you need a stopover before or after visiting Sossusvlei. "
