"Room was clean and comfortable. I rented this room to relax in the hit tub. The first night I was able to. The second night it was broken. The third night I was told it was already closed at ten minutes to 9pm. Also, I am a BW member and was offered noon as a late check out and told it would be $40 to stay in the room until 2pm. I have received better courtesies in smaller motels m and larger hotels all over. Needless to say we will be trying another hotel with a hot tub and a seemingly willingness to work with us on early check in and late check out since their is a possibility of us being long term weekly customers over the next 6months to a year."
"This place is a real deal for the money. Plus, you get breakfast and a light dinner if you want to partake. I couldn’t have been happier with my stay."
"Older hotel that has been kept up fairly well but could use updating. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Pool and hot tub were very nice and refreshing. A/c worked well. But. We went to use the in room coffee maker and found that it had been left on with coffee in the carafe. Now we had a carafe with burned coffee in it. Housekeeping should taken care of this. Spouse took the carafe to the front desk to exchange it for a clean one and was told to "put some water in it to clean it". Not the solution we were expecting. Other than that it was an affordable place to rest for a couple of days."
"Pros: Beautiful grounds/buildings and the casitas are close to restaurants, golf, pool, etc. It is a peaceful place, very calming. Staff were very friendly and kind.
Cons: Food was unexceptional and expensive. Service was quite slow, even when it was uncrowded. Smaller not deal-killer stuff: There is a fair amount of “dated-ness” and old stuff in the rooms: shower heads, coffee pots, iron, even the tv remotes were really old. The mattress was way too soft. The pool had a lot of debris including dead bees and tree seeds. And also, I’ve never stayed in any hotel, especially an upscale one, with no full length mirror!"
