"Booked last minute. Perfect for a weekend stopover whilst travelling. Pool added bonus. Breakfast service to order and collect fresh pastries is ideal. External lights outside room not working so was a bit dark but thought this might be to reduce bugs. Suggestion for couple or chairs or bench nr table tennis table. Beds comfortable apartment had everything needed, some furnishings looked a bit well used. Balcony a perfect treat to sit on, was very hot when we visited a large fan was provided which worked well until we had to close doors at bedtime, a second fan for the bed room may have been of help but still with such hot weather it was just moving hot air about. Perfect location for walking into the village where there are plenty of places to eat just be mindful if you go on Sunday as less options as lots where closed for food."

"Location, size of room and breakfast were lovely! However it was let down by inconsistent staffing of reception! On arrival in the evening despite knocking on several, what seemed like office doors and ringing reception we still had an appalling wait for a member of staff! He seemed to also appear from one of the doors weâd knocked on so had ignored our knock. When he did arrive (short male with short dark hair) he was miserable, unwelcoming and didnât tell us any of the usual information such as breakfast times and location or pool opening times. The pool area also had a disgusting looking area of water that was there before you had a chance to avoid it and couldnât avoid it if you wanted to access the pool! Looking dirty and not nice at all!"

"Parking at this hotel is a bit tricky. The back lot filled up very quickly and there was no in/out availability after they closed the gate at midnight. Hotel itself was good. Had a fridge with cold Alsace water (complimentary) waiting for us after we check in. Staff was friendly. Room was a good size. We booked a deluxe room with 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. One of the twin beds was a pull out bed from the couch. It was fine but if the person sleeping on it was taller it would have been a bit of an issue."

"Checkin was a disaster compounded by unnecessary surliness and incompetence. They demand a 24 hour pre check in online and I did that noting that I would stop by at 1 pm to drop bags and avail myself of their luggage storage option. I received an email back thanking me for pre-check in. I showed up at 3 pm and there was a family from Montreal also looking to check in early. The phone didnât pick up then a random guy came and accosted us for being early and I explained I spelled it out in the pre check in. He said to give him 5 minutes. That turned into fifteen minutes and then some other guy showed up and accosted us again and shut the door and left us out on the street in the hot weather. I found his language to be rude and abrasive as did the Montreal family. Finally some hotel guests took pity on us and let us in and showed us where the luggage storage was and we went to get some water nearby (why that was so difficult for the hotel staff Ill never know). I donât know why they bother with the pre-registration kabuki. Then my room didnât have a frying pan but there was a whisk and a spatula. After three days I gave up asking. Itâs unfortunate because itâs a nicely renovated old building in a convenient spot though it was interesting that they have a placard at the front desk advising guests not to argue with staff so somehow the surliness is built into the hospitality illusion they offer. It was like a surly Fawlty Towers Totally uncalled for. Câest dommage."
