Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. "The room was clean and comfortable, decor was a bit tired. Bathroom was in better shape, looked like it had been refurbished. Breakfast was lovely and the staff attentive. Food at the Fat Abbot was good. We also ate at the nearby Thai restaurant, which was excellent. Pool, Gym and Spa area were spacious and clean. All the staff were polite and cheerful, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again."

"What an amazing stay we had. The staff were amazing. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were very comfy and the room was warm. The food was excellent quality. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone."
