"We stayed for two nights. It was generally clean, and everything we needed was in working condition. My kids enjoyed the pool, though they wished the pool towels were larger. The staff was pleasant and helpful and patient, which helped when checking in late at night. There were no weird smells and we could not hear any of the neighbors. I understand now why it's technically a two-star hotel but has such a high rating from guests - it's a conveniently-located, decently priced, clean place to stay, with ample parking, nice staff, and it has a working pool and free breakfast. Not much more one can ask for :)"

"Stayed two nights with my small dog, and we had a great time unwinding in the Catskills. Staff was excellent and tended to our needs. Wonderful to have a brewery, restaurant and Saturday night music on the property. Not a fancy place, but we were comfortable and got some much-needed rest. They even packed up dinner and a couple of beers so I could eat in the room with my dog."

"Helpful staff, quick response to anything I needed, I had a last minute request due when I got there and it was granted and that I appreciate so much. It was my son’s birthday weekend and he enjoyed it so much. The waterpark was clean and amazing, I even enjoyed myself as well. They had a bar upstairs where no children could get too and that I appreciated. All in all I’m definitely booking another stay. Thank you for the hospitality!!"

"Wow. What a beautiful serene getaway in the Catskills. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and relaxing trip. We came for my husband’s birthday. He received a men’s facial and I received a body clay wrap. The most relaxed and soft skin I ever felt, thank you Carol! We enjoyed the spa- sauna, steam room, jacuzzi. The somatic body movement and yoga classes helped our bodies stay loose and relaxed. We absolutely loved the prix fixe dinner at Bittersweet. A truly talented chef, experimenting with flavors and textures in the context of a rotating seasonal menu. Thank you Hemlock Neversink for a thoughtful and unforgettable stay! "

"There was maintenance being performed on casino electrical system so the bars and all but one restaurant were closed for business 45 minutes wait to be seated for dinner Also Alder hotel charged additional 25 dollars per night to use casino, which was not explained when reservation were made "
