Hotels in South Forest Beach

"Great stay at Coral Sands Resort. The location is perfect…everything is within biking distance, including the beach, restaurants, and plenty to do. We rented bikes from Wheelz and they delivered directly to the condo… super easy and no hassle. Watusi Cafe was a great nearby breakfast spot, and Coligny Beach near the Tiki Hut was our go-to for drinks and live daytime entertainment. The condo was very clean and everything worked as expected. Only minor note: water pressure could be stronger and hot water runs out a bit quickly (I may just be spoiled at home on the hot water). They did offer a timeshare presentation at check-in, but we declined and it wasn’t pushed. Overall, awesome stay—we’re definitely looking to go back."

"At first, I was very impressed with this hotel, but then I got to my room, and about 30 minutes later, a roach was crawling on the wall. You would think, after spending over 300 on a room, that would be the least of your problems. I decided I wanted to take a bath, and the stopper would work. I was very disappointed in this hotel."

"I booked a king room with a balcony. When we got there, we checked in, parked pretty far away, carried our luggage to out room only to find 2 queen beds. Noone informed us of a room change prior to walking in and finding out ourselves. It would have been nice to be informed when checking in at least. When i went back down to the desk to ask i was told there was probably a maintenence problem.They did offer us a free breakfast for the inconvenience but it doesn't change the bed size. When we checked out the women at the desk asked how our stay was. I explained again and she replied with oh your are supposed to have a free breakfast and a sorry. We declined the breakfast and she said ok you're good. No thank you. The parking is pretty far away from the hotel, they did have someone driving a golf cart to give you a ride back to the hotel which was nice when you have a lot to carry. Also cookies and waters when you checked in. Other than not being thanked for staying there the staff was friendly. The room was clean. The beds were not very comfortable, on the firm side. I sat in the desk chair and all most fell over backwards, that probably needed replaced. The tv was good. Over all it wasnt horrible but definitely did not live up to my expectations, which aren't that high."

"This place is seriously dated and it's a real shame as it has lots of potential but lacking any leadership with management and ownership. My experience at check-in was cold and painful and after an email a week ahead of time and 2 calls asking for a pack n play I finally had to go back to the front desk and speak to a supervisor. Then after 2 failed attempts with the ones that were delivered the manager had to come to the room and setup the third one. All in all this wasted 3hrs of my time. Further, due to something to do with their cable provider, not all channels were available and the wifi was awful. It barely worked. Overall it's not worth the monry you pay as the hygiene of the place is very poort. The gym felt as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. I mentioned this twice during my stay and it was never cleaned. House keeping comes every other day and it was a joke. The rooms should be cleaner. Again, a bunch of painful small things that doesn't make this stay worthwhile."

"overall this is a fantastic place. One minor issue is the check in process. Check in time is 4pm and office closes at 5. If you don’t hit that window then you stand in line with folks from another property, they hand you a folder, and you have to go to the Players Club office the next day before 10 am. So you end up going through the process twice, and have adjust your morning plans to be at the office by 10."

"The condo is in a great location, very close to the beach, a long walk or short drive. Close to several restaurants. It was plenty of room for our group of 5. It should NOT be limited to 6 people. It could easily sleep 7-8 people. We could’ve used a few more wash clothes and towels. The front door knob needs to be replaced. It was stocked with the general “hotel” type supplies. We stayed 3 nights and I only needed to buy some liquid hand soap and bath wash. Toilet tissue, paper towels, dish liquid, 1 small container of laundry detergent, 2 dishwasher tabs and small bars of soap was supplied. Great price for a family on a budget. Overall I would stay there again for sure. "
