"Lovely hotel in a great location, across the street from the South Kensington underground station, easy walk to the museums and Kensington Gardens. Easy walk to Knightsbridge and Harrods. From South Kensington it’s easy to get anywhere in London. Piccadilly and the theater district are just four stops away. There were wonderful small restaurants and pubs in the neighborhood that we enjoyed.
Wonderful staff always looking out for our comfort, the mini bar was always stocked with snacks and soft drinks. The room was a good size, charmingly decorated with a bird theme (nod to the nearby Natural History Museum?) and well appointed. Very comfortable bed. The air conditioning was quiet and worked well.
Excellent breakfast (recommend the Eggs Benedict) and fun bar. I’d also recommend the Science Afternoon Tea. We performed some fun experiment before indulging in three layers of delicious treats, topped off with a glass of champagne of course!"
