"Favourite holiday spot. Staff were excellent this trip as my husband had a heart operation and staff were very mindful and assisted us move our luggage etc Unlike the big Mantra hotel on the border of NSW and QLD. Love Kingscliff! We’ll be back and share with everyone we know "

"Good location, comfortable beds, good aircon. Those were the only positive things about this hotel. This hotel didn't meet minimum standards of being able to actually sleep. Saturday night there was a raging party in a nearby room from 9:30pm to midnight, this included screaming, yelling, karaoke, and loud music. We were honestly too tired to think about calling reception with the hope and expectation that someone on staff would have heard the noise and did something about it. Same again Sunday night except it started at 11pm and ended past 2am. This time we ended up calling reception 3 separate times to get it resolved eventually. The room is badly designed and fitted out. The window from the room to the bathroom is just weird and when someone gets up in the middle of the night the light wakes everyone up. The block out blinds are useless as they let in plenty of light around it (whatever happened to just using some nice curtains?). There is no table or desk in the room leaving you no where to put things down. To use the kettle you need to put it in the corner of the room on the floor or unplug the TV and put it on the TV cabinet. The toilet button is hard to flush and door can't close. The parking situation is just confusing with numerous sections labeled however with some garage doors left up, the signage disappears. There are little sparrows everywhere so your car gets covered in bird poop. The thumping dryer from next door is heard and felt through the walls. "

"Check in staff - interesting response Guess it was nearly 5pm on Thursday night! Pet friendly would be good - would have loved to bring our cavoodle. Place was lovely and clean - cleaners missed clearing top track of dishwasher - cutlery draw 1 items wasn’t clean - all good though. "

"We enjoyed our stay.very clean. Love the carpet in the bedrooms. Comfy lounge to relax into and large smart tv to watch. Ideal for a family holiday near the sea. Loaded with board games n videos and free Wi-Fi. Only drawback was I had no mobile signal to txt n make calls but once i connected to the Internet and 'Wi-Fi Calling' I could make calls n txts which worked out well. Only drawbacks were the sound of water run-off from the road above. Could only hear from the back bedrooms. Also had steps leading up to the unit. For a young family it would be fine. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable. The 3 hour Bayside River Cruise was great as well as a walk up to the Fingal Head lighthouse which no longer is operational. Spectacular views to the south and out to sea. Tweed Heads shopping not far away."

"When I booked this hotel room - the photos used was showing rooms overlooking the pool in different angles. I booked the room and paid a non refundable payment. I assumed that we would get a similar looking room with that view as that was what was what they were showing, that’s why I picked this property. A day before arrival I was told this was not the room we would be getting. I did inform them that that was what I booked as per their photos, they said “sorry but as it’s fully booked they can’t change the room allocated.” And that our room would face the car park. As I had no other choice than go with it or loose the payment. I did let them know that I felt they were misleading people by putting up pictures for a room that wasn’t accurate which is misleading. I heard no more from them. Anyhow after all this I decided we were still going to enjoy our holiday weekend and not let this ruin it. The girl we picked the keys up from was lovely, the hotel was great, we still used the amenities and enjoyed our stay. It’s a great resort. The loss of stars are purely for being misleading in their presentation on what the room looks like in pictures. The resort get 5 stars. "
