"We would definitely stay here again. I chose it for the location and for the price, but there were so many things that made it even more special. Wonderful, welcoming staff. Excellent location, lakefront property, every room facing the lake. We spent an entire evening at the hotel - watching the sunset from our balcony, building a bonfire on the property for which staff supplied fire starters (firewood already there) and s'mores fixings, looking through our own telescope on the expansive lawn near the beach, and wrapping it up in the hot tub. Breakfast was excellent, many choices including delicious fresh watermelon and pineapple (in September!). Room itself was comfortable, clean and spacious."

"Very nice updated motel. Great location. Loved the kitchenette option! I’m giving 4 stars because of the bed. It was very, very firm. My husband and I slept poorly our entire stay. We ended up not staying our third night and going home due to the discomfort the bed was causing us. We are in our 40s with the usual aches and pains, we just couldn’t handle another night."
