Talking Stick Resort
6/10 Okay
"I didn't like how the staff told me that they would not accept my ID. As soon I checked in Knowing i'm not from Arizona and me being above the age 25+ to come find out during my last DAY that my id was valid and since im not from Arizona my ID still qualified for me to drink and go to Casino. So most of days I didn't even chill at the resort I spent my money on different resort spots and food spots and connected with natives and told me that they cant do that."

Hotel Valley Ho
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is top notch, a hidden gem. The property is one of the best maintained that I've stayed at. And Alex at the pool, is outstanding. He is kind, funny and his energy is hard to match. There is so much to do within one mile - shopping, food, drinks! Can't wait to visit again!"

GreenTree Hotel Phoenix West
6/10 Okay
"Overall, the stay had some positives, but a few things would make me think twice about coming back. When we first got to our room, the shower wasn’t working, but the staff handled it quickly. They moved us to another room nearby, which was really convenient since we didn’t have to drag all our stuff across the hotel.
The rooms seemed recently upgraded. The bed was really comfortable, the pillows were soft, and it was nice having both a fridge and microwave.
Breakfast was okay—nothing amazing, but good enough for a quick bite. There are also several fast food spots within walking distance, including a McDonald’s, which was convenient.
The main downside was the surrounding area. It wasn’t the cleanest, and there were quite a few homeless individuals around, some appearing to be using drugs, which made it feel a bit sketchy at times. That said, the hotel does have security on-site, and after 9pm you need a room key to enter, which helped.
It worked well for us since we were there for spring training and just needed a place to sleep. If you’re not planning to spend much time at the hotel, it gets the job done—but the area is something to keep in mind."

Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak
6/10 Okay
"As many reviews have stated, this property is undergoing a much needed renovation. The renovated parts and the lazy river area were great, our unrenovated room and the complex we were in were not. Definitely not worth the cost if you are in the old parts of the resort."
