A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc.. "Very good hotel, but they didn't have a room for us when we arrived, despite our having prepaid for it months in advance. Management dealt with it well by sending us to another hotel for one night. So, apart from causing us some anxiety, it was only a small glitch.. It's not in the center of things, but everything you'd wand to do is within a short, cheap tuk-tuk ride. Management is very helpful arranging these, and anything else you need. "

"This property is designed to take care of your every need. You have a personal butler who you work with for everything—dining, outside excursions, a drink by the pool—and they do an excellent job. Our butler was Menuka and he was wonderful, helpful, and kind. We stayed on the property for the most part and chose to do all of our meals there because we liked the food and the convenience. It is a very small property and quiet so if you are really interested in disconnecting, this is a good choice....

"Very relaxed, easy going place, great location, breezy view of estuary. It's a large room, nice furniture, bedding etc. Bar, very diversely stocked supermarket, resistant and coffee shop downstairs, means you have most things at your fingertips. Beach is 5-10min walk, as is boat hire, (all the fun craft available). I hired a kayak for an hour, very pleasant easy lagoon and estuary paddle.its a short walk from Aluthgama station. Bentota is over the bridge. "
