"Overall, this is a historic hotel. Original flooring dating back from the early 1900s and older designee rooms give the rooms a unique character. Hotel is clean and an excellent location to the Alamo, shopping centres, restaursnts and the Riverwalk. Beware that parking is pricey here. $45 for valet or $40 for public parking with limited in and out privliges. "

"Proximity to Sandfest was wonderful!! Just walk a block and you are at entrance to buy your ticket. Condo was very large and girls loved the bed plus bunk beds in bedroom. Having 2 bathrooms was wonderful! Only negatives were that husband couldn’t get TV to work and there were many rolly Polly bugs-some alive and some dead."

"It was great staying at the Holiday Inn - Riverwalk. It was close to everything I wanted to go to and enjoyed the views from my room. For sure we will stay there again. Plus the valet was very quick. "

"We were lucky enough to stay in the new parts of the hotel— it is undergoing renovation. Room was great: large, clean, modern, filled with amenities. Construction was not noisy so did not bother us, but for people wanting to use fitness center or laundry, those were off limits. The location is fantastic; on Riverwalk, but away from super touristy section. 5 minutes to The Pearl and Museum of Art. Great walkability into downtown without crowds or noise."
