"Having read many negative comments about this hotel we were pleasantly surprised to find things far better than expected. On arrival we were welcomed by Eileen who was very friendly, helpful and totally professional. We were soon checked in and were very impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the room and bathroom. Towels and bed linen were immaculate, the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and the Wi-Fi was excellent. There was a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items which were nicely presented. All in all we had an excellent experience and would definitely stay here again. Recommended."

"Staff were nice and attentive. Breakfast was mediocre but still good. Didnโ€™t accept cash at the restaurant which was too bad for a traveller. Rooms were a little small and in need of an update but for a cheaper hotel, was a great stay. Nice and close walking distance to lots of attractions in Southampton."
