"Found this great spot just a 25-minute scenic motorcycle ride from the Barber Museum. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. While it's an older hotel, the rooms and property are well-maintained and spotless. The area has plenty of food options, including the excellent Flying Biscuit for breakfast. We were very happy with the fair price and location and would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent experience! Our check in employee was awesome and even offered cheesecake in the lounge area. The only thing that was a downer is they charged $15/parking per night. This is new and I am not a fan!"

"My dad was in the hospital after a heart attack and we didn’t know how long we needed to stay. The manager was phenomenal and caring. While extending our reservation she was asking how my dad was, how I was after being up for 20 hrs she could tell I was exhausted, and asked if we needed additional room items, etc…very caring and if we owned a chain of hotels I’d make her the corporate trainer for managers. She wasn’t a corporate robot and I can’t tell you how much it meant to me after being awake in a hospital for so long. It wasn’t something that is expected these days in the corporate hotel business. I can’t tell you how much just the simplest things she said meant to me and my fiance. Thank you for hiring a compassionate and excellent employee !! Will always stay here again when we are back in town. Great hire !! And keep her please !! She’s a rarity for sure "
