5-star hotel in the wilderness.

Feel luxurious... with the price we paid it is considered as above our expectation. Good ambience and restaurant served reasonably price and delicious dinner especially the lamb!

I accidentally booked the wrong dates due to a near-midnight flight. When we arrived, the hotel was fully booked, but an off-duty staff member went above and beyond to help us. They found a spare room so we could sleep and wash up for the night. They were also concerned we might get the dates wrong for other hotels we had for the rest of the trip. Serene environment, 40degree outdoor hot tub. Easy parking. Some nice restaurant options.

The rooms are clean and they have a wonderful breakfast spread. The owner was really helpful - she helped us to call up our tour company to arrange for a closer pick up and drove us to the pick up point in her own car because it was snowing when we checked out.

Great location and great stuff, very helpful. Will be back again.

I would recommend honeymoon couples/family to book this hotel during your stay in Iceland. The staff are friendly and the apartment we live in is lovely. It is well equipped except for a small flaw- no sink at the kitchen area. We managed to catch the Northern Light during our stay there. The view is great!

Firstly, this is a nice place far enough from the Reykjavik city lights to see the Aurora but not that far from the city neither. The buffet dinner and breakfast were a nice touch and the property has a nice family run (and warm) feel, something that you don't get in those big cold hotel chains that we are so used to. My last stop before heading back to the city. A nice quiet environment. Good guesthouse to relax. In particular, i like the pantry area. Surprisingly good breakfast too.

The place was very clean and small with only a few rooms, so did not get too noisy and busy even though it was almost fully occupied.

It does look like a "camp" with lots of backpackers. The room conditions are basic but sufficient.
