"Great place "

"The internet did not work in the hotel room. It only worked standing in the doorway to the room. The room is definitely minimalist. No kleenex or extra roll of toilet paper. No ice machine, they had ice cube trays in the freezer, that weren’t full. Don’t except some of the normal amenities, in a hotel room."

"Excellent staff. The hotel is located right next to downtown Asland with access to restaurants, theater, and Lithia Park. They have a slow charger for electric vehicles. The chairs are cushioned and low to the ground and you sink, making the table come up to your chest so you can't get any work done in your room. At 6:50 a.m. the neighbor turned on the fan in the bathroom and it rattled the wall loudly for a half hour. This might be particular to the one room."

"Clean and quiet room and friendly staff. Easily walkable to downtown Ashland and OSF theaters. Breakfast was passable but not great."

"The breakfast is great - fresh fruit and a selection of hot food. The site is very nice, the rooms are quite clean and the staff is helpful. "

"Booked this motel specifically because there was an outdoor pool and the weather was predicted to be super warm. Apparently, May is still winter months. When we arrived the pool was green and still closed. I accept that I did not call in advance but May is closer to Summer than Winter. To make matters worse they apparently were having some type of water or sewer issues and thought that cutting cement and redoing pipes starting at 12:30am and finishing somewhere around 4am is ok. Again, I understand that emergencies happen but there was no communication with those staying. I would have at a minimum appreciated a note taped to the door. I went to the desk the next morning to ask questions and there was no one present that I could find. Overall, just disappointment after disappointment."
