"This was the most we have paid for lodging on the road but it was the most dated/run down hotel that we have stayed in. (Our fault for not booking ahead while driving home from a graduation on Memorial Day weekend) A lot of places were fully booked and this is all we could find under $200. We’ve stayed in much nicer hotels that were in the $120-$130 range. Breakfast was skimpy so we ate elsewhere."

"The grounds and pickleball courts, volleyball, pool, games etc were all awesome!!! The rooms left a lot to be desired. Old and dark with bad patch jobs everywhere. Staff was beyond helpful and super friendly!!! Great location with a quick walk to both the hot springs and the gondola to the adventure park. Probably the most convenient place to stay if you’re doing both these activities."

Coyote Mountain Lodge

"I don't understand how this Coyote Mountain Lodge received such high ratings of "Excellent" in Expedia. I think it below average at best. The only good thing about the hotel is that it's cheap at $150/night, and you get what you pay for - no room service, really bad free breakfast, and a very uncomfortable cheap beds. The rooms are clean, and the shower water is hot, but the room did have a strange smell. The Expedia site pictures of this hotel is much nicer than reality! If your just looking for a "cheap place" to sleep and don't care about any of the amenities typically offered by hotels - this is your place. But be warned, after along day of hiking, you may want a more comfortable bed to rest and recover in. The mattress was thin and too firm. I personally would not stay here a second time."
