"the location was great, nice quiet area overlooking the golf course. nice outside space, parking for the car. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, shower hot. There is no WiFi, which maybe an issue for some. And the TV has only 2 channels, but not that big a deal."

The cabin offered all we needed, from a well equipped kitchen, BBQ, canoe, up to a speaker and board games. We got a genuine warm welcome and goodbye from the hosts Camilla and Thomas. "The location is beautiful and scenery but the cottage itself was too small to accomodate 4 of us. No proper beds just sofa beds which were really a hassle to open and rather uncomfortable. There is no private bathroom and the toilet and showers are locared separately outside the cottage. Making this very uncomfortable and awkward if one needs to use the bathroom late at night in the cold, rain and snow. We ended up leaving and didnt make our full stay 😪 "

"All in all, it’s a great place. The decor is wonderful and the initial vibe is great. It seems to be hugely attractive to the younger generations looking to party. The communal toilets in the lobby/lounge area get pretty grim. And the music they play in the evening reminded me of nights out on e bombs 20 years ago. Heavy techno and not really easy to chill out to. I’m not a dinosaur by any means, but I wasn’t looking to grind my teeth over a glass of wine in the lounge. My wife and I got up and went somewhere else, which was a shame because it was a lovely setting otherwise. Setting aside the toilet scene and the music selection, I can’t complain at all about the hotel."
