"Room 137 was the most disgusting room that we have ever stayed at. We were really disappointed with the condition of the room. We were on our trip back home and decided to spend the night here after a long drive. I looked on the Expedia site to find a room for the night. We had stayed at Wyndham hotels our whole trip and assumed that this one would be as all the others. I wish that I had taken pictures!! We walked into the room and it was freezing (colder that outside). I tried to turn up the heat and the thermostat was broken (no cover on it and wires everywhere). I called the from desk to ask if they could come and turn up the heat. She did send the maintenence man but there was nothing that could be done. I asked to move to another room but they were completely booked. The young lady did bring us a heater to keep us warm. There was also a hole in the ceiling and patched up holes in the walls. Not sure why, but
there nats in the room. We literally had to sleep with a blanket over our heads because they were getting into our hair. And not their blankets because they looked questionable. The floor/carpet was dirty and wait for it.......there was a pair of men's shoes under the skirt of the bed!! If you are asking why we didn't leave the hotel was because the reservation was non-refundable!! They didn't even have coffee the following morning. We couldn't wait to get out of there. Lesson learned....don't always believe reviews!!"
