"Location was great for our Gettysburg visit. The staff was very friendly"

" The hotel was fair. booked a king room and was put in a queen for some reason with no king available. The room was clean, the bed was hard and the towels were paper thin. The breakfast was ok but nothing offered with protein. I would have appreciated at.least boiled eggs. The previous reviews do not match out experience. Would not stay again. "

"Each room has a designated numbered parking spot, which was nice. Our 2nd floor room was accessed via a staircase - no elevators, which could be an issue for some. The indoor and outdoor pools looked very nice, but we didn't use them. We found the room to be clean - but the beds were extremely soft and not to our taste at all. We loved the breakfast in the Breakfast Cottage! A wide variety of foods and everything was tasty. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Gettysburg."

"Sink took 30 minutes to drain, no oilers by bed, closest one was by the window and it didn’t work luckily I carry an extension cord so I could use my cpap machine"

"The lady serving food was very kind and helpful, loved the history vibe. I did expect to stay in the main hotel but was put in the building out back . It was fine though."

"This hotel is utterly disgusting. The first room they checked me into i don't know if the bed has been clean since the last person slept in it. The chair in the room looked like somebody had given birth while sitting on it and they just didn't bother to clean it . The bathroom was filthy. The front desk changed my accommodations to two doubles, and that room was slightly better, but just not satisfied with the hotel at all the entire hotel smelled like curry and peanuts. The staff was not friendly. The breakfast was lackluster. I would not lodge my animals at this hotel if I ever came back to Gettysburg. Be warned pay the extra money for a nicer option"
