"The Hampton Inn is very nice, most employees were excellent. The woman working the evening shift was not at all helpful when we made calls to advise we had no towels. Not upset about no towels, it happens, but the woman at the desk did not get us towels after 2 calls. After one and a half hours we had to go down to get them. The gentleman at the desk was nice and immediately got us towels. Apparently the woman left at 11pm, change of shift, not only did she not take care of us , she didn’t even let the young man know we were waiting for towels. This is not a ding against the hotel but against her."

"As a solo female traveler, I would absolutely stay here again! The room was clean. Bed comfy. Great shower. Lots of breakfast options. Friendly, helpful staff. I was very pleased with my stay."

"Generally, a good experience. But I used the couch/bed. When I pulled it out, it was full of crumbs and the mini mattress had a large stain in the middle (my wife said not to describe the color). We had to strip the sheet from the bed to cover it and provide a cover for me."

"As a couple, we always get a suite so that when one of us snores, the other can sleep on the pull-out couch in peace. This is why we stay at Home2 in various places where we travel. This time, however, the pull-out sofa mattress was all springs and no cushioning - pretty much the worst in any hotel we've tried. It was like it had been slept on since the 80s. We are well aware that convertible sofa bed mattresses are never amazing, but as an advertised option (i.e., the room is advertised as sleeping more than just 2 in the king bedroom), we expect it to not be painful to lay on. I'm only around 130 pounds and the springs were digging into my hips the night I tried to sleep on it. Otherwise, it seems like a very nice property, and the staff were all extremely hospitable from a maintenance person I passed in the hallway to the front desk folks, so many other aspects of this property are excellent. But please, don't advertise that sofabed as a viable place to sleep for $200 a night. That's just not fair."

"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the complimentary coffee in the mornings and being able to open the windows in my room for some fresh air. The location was also excellent, with easy access to walking paths as well as several good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening and ordered the 1833 salad, which was delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay."
