"The breakfast was great. The room nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Only down side-I was told there was a $20/hr up charge to check in early. I’ve never heard that in any travels. So I left and came back after 3p."
"I love this little end tucked in the middle of Ithaca. It’s always very nice and clean nice amenities very quiet and peaceful environment. Staff is always friendly room stay does come with a complementary breakfast in the morning and that’s always nice with good fresh food clean linens clean bathroom. I definite choice to stay when I’m in the area."
"I loved that the staff was very helpful especially when the neighbors where being lost till 11 at night and letting there dog bark all night long. I was disapppiented when I got into my room and found cigarette butt all over the room and plaster in the tub from where the ceiling cracked. I would stay again and will bring stuff to clean my own room and ear plugs for disrespectful guest"
"Overall our stay was great, a few minor details would have made it amazing.
A great was the location and property. The hotel is close to everything without being crowded or loud. Our room was nice and quiet. We were on the first floor and had our own private patio adjacent to the gazebo and pond. We learned upon arrival that our side of the hotel did not have elevator access. Not a terrible thing, just weren't prepared as people with mild mobility issues. Also the continental breakfast was not great. It was basically cereal, yogurt and bagels with an ill-working toaster that burnt them. The weekend version was better with a broader array of food. We got free breakfast, I would not have paid for it without disappointment.
Another great was the staff. They were so nice, friendly and helpful. They answered questions with kindness that wasn't fake. They seemed to enjoy their job and take pride in it.
Another great was our room. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable. The furnishings were simple and of good quality. It felt like a European manor. It would have been better with higher quality linens, ours were pilling and a bit rough. Also no housekeeping for duration of our 4 day stay. Got extra towels from desk.
One final thing, we were awakened Saturday morning to a fire alarm. The alarm was going off but no staff on our floor for instructions or fire directions in the room. We went to the lobby and staff said they got locked out. Not good."
