"Excellent service and staff. Clean, comfortable, welcoming, accommodating. Fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in were awesome. Lobby coffee always refreshed and mostly hot. Good location, with lots of restaurants and activities nearby. The room itself was very nice, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Not as busy as I would have expected over MEA weekend.
The pool water temperature is too cold. Even after I asked them to up this for my stay (it was cold on our last visit too!) no change. The hot tub water temperature was fine. I'd put it even hotter, but I heard other guests say "the hot tub is too hot" and "the pool is too cold". So safe to say, the hot tub is hot enough and the pool is too cold. They put pool towels in your room and you can get more at the front desk. I wish they'd just leave enough at the pool and keep them stocked.
I miss the old days when hotels just did housekeeping (light room refresh, making beds, emptying trash) every day without making you ask them. It's sad that this higher level of customer care and service went away after Covid. But that's all hotels now, not just this one. That used to be a big reason to go to a hotel."
