"Loved the pool. The villa was really clean and bright. You do need to check into the actual hotel (which this is not, this is the villas), which is like 5-10 mins away by car, and I'll say this now that the hotel does have a restaurant. It was nice that when requested, they quickly delivered an iron and ironing board since it wasn't already inside our villa. The whole property was really clean and well maintained. The view from our villa was nice. The villa does have a steam shower which was...

"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). We had our own private patio and a back door that led right to the pool. The town and the people...

"We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. On top of that Erato was super hospitable and responsive to our needs - highly recommended!"

"The stay in this hotel was great. Short trip to center Kolimvari, 2 euro trip to Agia Marina by bus and 3 euro trip to center Chania.
Bed was great, air con was working properly and we enjoyed every second. "

"Hmm. This is a very good property and would be excellent anywhere else in the world but standards in Greece/Crete are very high. It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. There is construction work going on literally adjacent to the property currently so expect some noise and essentially the outdoor balcony space is off-limits during the daytime. Some minor maintenance niggles. Seems a bit mean providing a coffee machine but no capsules but hey ho. This is a...

"My wife and I spent 5 nights at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is nicely located to conveniently walk along the beach, shops, and restaurants. The breakfast menu has good and healthy options, we loved it. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay very pleasant."

"Amazing stay. Staff was super helpful. Breakfasts were delightful, especially when we discovered that we could order Greek yoghurt, drizzled with honey and with diced fruit. Very refreshing and a perfect beginning to the day.
Location is perfect. Parking is a real challenge but we got lucky almost every day finding street parking relatively close by.
In short, absolutely wonderful experience."
"Amazing! From the first class hospitality of Sophia and team to the perfect accommodations our trip to Create was memorable. Would stay here again in a second. The place feels like home. Top notch area and just a great vibe overall."
"Excellent hotel, walking distance to city centre and very close to the beach.,very good breakfast provided.. room was a generous size very clean and serviced each day.. happy to recommend"
"What a wonderful place to stay when in Chania. We were here only two nights so that we could catch a bus to hike the Samaria Gorge, but the hotel is amazing. Very clean and conveniently located in Chania with an easy to access private parking lot (not often available in Chania). The staff were some of the nicest people we’ve encountered while traveling (and that’s saying a lot because Crete is full of friendly people). After a long and grueling hike of the gorge, we got back to our room around 8:30PM and luckily Halepa Hotel has room service (amazing club sandwich with potato chips and ice cream that was much need and all without having to try to leave the hotel again). Also, great buffet-style breakfast with plenty to choose from and very filling. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay here longer but if ever we are in Crete again, we will be staying here for our entire visit."
