"Staff was super friendly, the pool area is awesome. My door broke in the morning and wouldn’t shut, called for help at 730 and they said they would see if their maintenance guy was busy. I packed all my stuff and left. I didn’t want to be in the room with door ajar or leave my things. So that sucked. Elevator is also shaky and loud. But everything else was good! "
"The hotel was under renovation- we could hardly walk to end of hallway- to our room-
Room was so dusty from Sheetrock work- pool was unusable- plan on Grandkids swimming- biggest disappointment was the price - after nothing on reservation site stated about renovation and pool not working- front counter poorly staffed !!! This hotel is very overpriced for value ! Tried talk with staff but front counter was never staffed -
Parking lot was hardly passable after snow- all area businesses had cleared lots for several hours and vehicles struggled to maneuver hotel lot - over priced !!!"
"Very poor bed, had a terrible sleep as we kept rolling into each other on the bowl shaped bed that creaked every time one of us moved. Left about 4am as we couldn't sleep anyways. Small crowded room that showed many signs of attempted repairs but very little finished or repaired properly."
Baymont by Wyndham Jamestown Conference Center & Water Park
2/10 Terrible
"Old, rundown and broken. Flimsy entry doors, many questionable unsavory fellows milling around stairwells. The only updated item was the bed which was actually quite comfortable. The bar/restaurant was dirty and uncomfortable. The waiter was rude and treated us poorly. Bill came to $30.00 and I gave the waiter a $50. He asked if I wanted change, of course I said yes. The change he brought me was a $20. Ridiculous. Chicken strips were fried in old oil causing horrible taste and smell. He didn’t know what a grilled cheese sandwich was and looked at me as if I were stupid. Front desk gentleman was uninterested in his position and it was difficult to understand him when speaking. Bathroom sink had a deep crack from one side to the other. Conditioner bottle ripped off of shower wall. "
"Pool closed. Coffee machine in lobby off when we left at 6:30 am. No one at front desk. Room: clean, bed comfortable, but bedding needs blanket, spread upgrade/replace. Had to unplug fridge middle of night-very loud."
