"Clean room and good enough stay if you're on a road trip along the East Coast and need a place to stay for the night. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast. My sister and I both felt safe and the staff were very friendly."
"This property is clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and pet friendly. There is a town owned dog park next to the hotel which is very convenient. Several places to eat nearby and a gas station as well."
"The beds are very comfortable! And, if you like a dark room for sleeping, there is no problem here; thick curtains. I would have slept better but the ac unit kicking on and off throughout the night was too noticeable and kept waking me. The bathroom smelled musty, but the rest of the room was clean. We had to take a cold shower, but the staff told us about that in advance. It wasn’t a big deal to take a cold shower."
"Room is very clean. Staffs are friendly and professional. I appreciate that i can use the business center late at night.
The lady staff helped me so much with the date issue on my reservation. Checkout is fast. I enjoyed breakfast. Parking is safe and conveniently located in front of the lobby. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it"
"I cannot see why anyone would choose a chain hotel if a room at the Grande Magnolia is available. Our weekend in Benson, NC was exceptional due in large part to staying at the Grande Magnolia. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by a man who knew us by name. We were shown to our room and given a one on one explanation of some of the features and history of the hotel. We walked to the historic downtown area and when we returned we were greeted by Ms. Nancy, the owner. Her passion for the Grande Magnolia radiates uninhibited. The attention to detail and quest for historical accuracy permeates the design decisions made for this magnificent building.
The Grande Magnolia serves breakfast every morning (I believe). While we were there no less than seven families came to the restaurant, so it’s popular with the locals. True to the spirit of “bed and breakfast”, our morning meal was included with our stay. The staff was on the ball and we never had to ask for coffee refills. Checkout was a breeze. I would very much recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique experience in the Four Oaks, Benson or Dunn area."
"I was a little worried when I saw that there were smoking rooms available but our stay was very pleasant and it was clear that no one had ever smoked in our non-smoking room so I was very happy overall! The staff were nice and helpful as well! I would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone looking for clean and affordable accommodations!"
