"Lovely stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean throughout, bed very comfortable and shower worked really well. Only downside the 2 side blinds didn’t work and curtains not thick enough on their own. Maybe hot drink making facilities and the hairdryer awkward to use because you have to keep holding the on button down. In a very good location for sightseeing and access to public transport. Would definitely recommend it."

"Very disappointing customer service experience. I asked for a breakfast sandwich in advance, but it was not available. I then suggested three different alternatives myself, and each one was refused. After that, I was simply told that they would not be helping me further. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the breakfast place opens at 6:30 a.m., and I offered to come downstairs and pick up the breakfast myself. I was specifically trying to save the staff time, since they would not need to deliver anything to my room. We were talking about a simple breakfast box that takes only a couple of minutes to prepare. The response I received from the reception agent was, “Do you know how much they have to do? They cannot spend time on you.” I found that remark incredibly rude and dismissive. Hospitality is about helping guests, and I was making every effort to find a solution that would minimize any inconvenience for the staff. When I expressed my frustration, I later overheard a reception agent complaining about me to a colleague. A few minutes later, that colleague called my room to lecture me. I have never experienced a hotel handling a customer concern this way. I have stayed in five-star hotels in Switzerland and in small family-run Airbnbs in southern Italy, and regardless of the level of luxury, I have never encountered service this poor. The entire interaction felt dismissive, hostile, and unprofessional. I will not be returning ever."

"Lovely decor, spacious room and spacious, classy bathroom with nice showerhead and good consistent water temperature. Comfortable real king bed, not the dodgy two singles pushed together like a lot of hotels do. Staff were friendly and helpful and all the ones we spoke to had fantastic English (although in classic German style many of them claimed they only spoke "a little" - but it's a heck of a lot better than my German!). Unfortunately though the climate control in the room was malfunctioning and we couldn't adjust it so the room was a little uncomfortably warm for sleeping at 22.5C with the only bedding a luxurious down quilt. Also disappointing that several damages in the walls hadn't been repaired and repainted - the bare white plaster from the damage was very visible on the nice dark paint. Bathroom also had a bit of gunge around the sink and some dodgy silicon repairs in the shower that wasn't color matched and had a lot of excess smears each side of the corner. Listing says no lifts, but there were for the tower we were in, as well as a small accessibility lift on the drop down stairs between sections. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but had a full hot and cold buffet with a lot of variety and good quality food."

Shampoo and conditioner, multiple charging outlets where you need them, supplies available for restocking the kitchenette and linens. Check in and out easy and communication with staff before and during the stay was excellent through the app."

"A really great hotel, perfectly located for exploring cool areas like Boxhaganer and easily accessible from the airport on the trains. The staff were very helpful at offering recommendations and the breakfast is excellent. Perfect for filling up before a days exploring. Would recommend and stay again."
