"The room was spacious...fireplace was nice. Good view and a nice balcony. The staff was friendly. Housekeeping was happy, one even said he loved his job and you could tell. The cookies at 4pm were a kind gesture. The pool was great and we hope to return soon."

"Place definitely needs to be updated. Very small room, even smaller bathroom, with a pedestal sink, so no where to put your toiletries . It's right off the road, so traffic sounds making it hard to sleep. Definitely will pay more money next time for a nicer place. Will not go back"

"Brian and David are the best friendliest host , they made us feel at home and loved their hospitality. They have maintained this property beautifully till the last corner of the home. We loved our room from hand painted walls to the canopy bed, with a view - brought out the southern charm of the property. The breakfast in a pretty English setup was my favorite. Thank you for serving us with delicious breakfast . We would love to revisit the next time we are in Galena!! "

"Our stay was superb. The manager met us at the reception and we were able to pick our accommodation. we were here only for a weekend to attend a wedding, but had out 2 dogs with us. They got treats and toys, unexpected but so thoughtful. We loved our suite, where we could see the sunset, enjoy the fireplace (cold 2 days). The suite was perfect, we love out morning coffee, and the coffee maker, real creamer (not the powder), was exactly what we needed. Complementary breakfast was an added bonus, and we enjoyed it. The surroundings were beautiful, we enjoyed the walk with the dogs, they had never seen cows before, and were really intrigued. The distance from Galena is perfect, we actually managed to enjoy dinner and walk on the Main Street. We are definitely coming back to enjoy the stay in summer. Thank you! "

"I was charged an extra $3.87 above the price on the expida app. I'm not sure why. The check in staff was not very welcoming. I have no incentive to use Savana Inn and Suites again."

"You can't beat this location if you want to wander around Galena and the riverfront! Everything felt clean, safe and we had everything we needed, if in a bit of strange and old-world set up! This is an old building with lots of "charm", but as long as you are prepared for that you'll have a lovely stay. "

"We only had 2 hiccups - it was set-back, behind anothe business which made it difficult to locate & carrying the big, heavy suitcases up/down the stairs to our room. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. Would stay again, gladly!"
