" I spent alot of time choosing this hotel for our 3 day DC trip. I booked the junior suite for myself and daughter and the pictures on line did not match the room. The room however was comfortable and clean but I expected what I saw on-line. The breakfast was very good but we received a check each morning for the free breakfast along with a pen. So the check said zero but they wanted the tip.....Of course I left a tip each day but it was weird to get a check with the free buffet. The girl named GiGi at front desk was very pleasant and she is a star at your hotel. There was a very large group of young teens staying at hotel and trying to go in elevator was difficult but when I finally got on the teens were seeing how many of them could fit in one elevator and we were so squeezed in it was terrifying. Not the fault of the hotel obviously, but wish whichever adults were with them had a bit more supervision as they disrupted the lobby for other guests. Beds were wonderful and extremely comfortable! "

"It would have been good to know that this property was “under renovations”. The lobby was non existent and the over all aspect was bad. Old and dingy. The pain peeling off the walls even in the rooms. Whitt that being said I will say the staff were nice and helpful an understand that the propert condition was not their fault. Breakfast was included. But their cafeteria area looked like what a Waffle House would be. The plus on this property is that they had clean and comfortable beds. Thankfully we were only for there for 1 night and that’s all we needed. "

"Rooms are not cleaned well....dirty floors, old stained musty carpet, hair left in shower, elevator out of service for several months, worn out mattress, coffee at breakfast bar not hot, furniture old and worn out.."

"This would have easily been a five-star experience if not for a significant service issue during our event. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and many members of the staff were welcoming and professional. The food and overall atmosphere were also very good. However, we encountered a major issue with contracted audiovisual (A/V) services. At the scheduled start time, the equipment was not operational. Onsite staff acknowledged they were not trained A/V technicians, which caused delays and disruption to our programming. To continue our event, we had to secure emergency replacement equipment at our own expense. Despite this, we were still charged $463.75 for A/V services that were not properly delivered. We have made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and through corporate channels but have not received a meaningful response. A chargeback has since been initiated. While the property itself has a lot to offer, the handling of this issue was disappointing and impacted our overall experience. "
