The Osthoff Resort
8/10 Good
"We had a nice stay at The Osthoff Resort overall. The property was very clean, and we enjoyed both the pools and the beach. The location is beautiful, and the grounds are well maintained.
That said, we were a little disappointed that so many activities came with additional fees. We were surprised that things like stand-up paddleboards and bikes weren’t included for resort guests. It would have made the experience feel like a better value.
The only other issue was that the air conditioning in our room struggled to keep up, which made it less comfortable during our stay.
Overall, it’s a nice resort in a beautiful setting, but a few improvements would make the guest experience even better."
"Hotel is a fabulous gem. Modern amenities but maintaining the character and history of the hotel. Luggage cart wheels were flat. Might not seem like a big deal until you try to use them! Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Great location."
"This may have been the cleanest hotel I have stayed at. And addition to being clean, it was in good shape--no bashed doorways or worn carpeting. Everything seemed nearly new."
"The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful! I’ll go back just because she was so sweet. The room was very clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. For what you pay it’s a great deal!"
"Needs new towels, bedroom floors not too clean.
Besides that, nice place to stay if you’re racing at Road America, plenty of places to have breakfast and dinner"
"Lovely place! My room wasn’t ready at check-in, but they gave me a free upgrade and what a wonderful room. The breakfast was so delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!"
