"A wonderful hotel in Ghent with a quirky room set up (ours not for anyone with mobility issues since there are stairs) and truly exceptional service. We knew we were in for a treat from the minute we arrived and the receptionist walked us to our room, which had a waiting waffle. The staff was always smiling,warm and welcoming. The room overlooked one of the large town squares but we never worried about sound because of the double windows. Dramatic height room with a loft, where the sink and shower were. We did have a bit of a ick factor since the downstairs toilet meant others may have used the hand railing with unsanitized hands on their way to the sink, foregoing the readily available hand sanitizer dispenser in the bathroom. We were careful and used hand sanitizer. Big shower with fluffy towels, robes and slippers. Fantastic location to explore Ghent. Quick walk to boat rides. Right in the middle of the beautiful parts of town. Supermarket below the gorgeous building. Delicious breakfast each morning with made to order eggs. Highly recommend staying here. "

"What a lovely hotel! We stayed with our two children in a studio and the room was perfect. Plenty of room and great facilities. The little kitchen was an absolute bonus and plenty of room to cook if you wanted to. Walkable to the centre and the dock area was an interesting walk too. Great pizza in the restaurant and breakfast was delicious too. Parking was also easy and able to charge our car, even if it was expensive, it was convenient. We have recommended it to friends and would happily stay again! "

"This is a beautiful hotel with phenomenal customer service. The hotel is located right on the periphery of the historic center of Ghent on a quiet street with taxi access and several restaurants. Ghent is magnificent, and when we go back, we'll definitely stay at Pillows."
