Waking up to the waves lapping on the shore, just like Shirley Valentine. The food in the restaurant superb. Never met such wonderful helpful staff. Booked 2 nights ended up staying 6. Brilliant

En genuin pärla - både hotellet och restaurangen!

Vi är vana italienresenärer och valde La Perla utifrån en recension på Hotels.com. Vi ville ha ett hotell som var genuint italienskt och vi fick det. Personalen var oerhört tillmötesgående och stämningen familjär. Vi hade bokat en natt, men valde att stanna en extra. Vi trivdes med rummet mot havet och den lilla privata stranden tvärs över gatan. På kvällarna åt vi på hotellrestaurangen som serverade fantastiskt god mat på italienskt vis med Havets frukter som specialitet. Vi njöt i fulla drag! Personalen berättade att de handlade bl a bläckfisk direkt från fiskare på plats. Smakade utsökt!

Much better than expected

Absolutely great stay at this 3-star Hotel. Obviously you cannot expect a luxury Hotel at this category but the rooms are spacious and clean, the restaurant is very nice and the food is good. And the service (reception, hotel staff) was outstanding and much better than what you would expect from a Hotel in this category. We also enjoyed the private beach with free sunchairs very much.

Man wird in diesem Hotel von einem sehr engagierten und freundlichem Ehepaar umsorgt! Das Hotel ist zwar nicht das modernste aber zweckmässig und als Schweizer kann ich behaupten sehr sauber! Die lage gerade am mehr ist top, sehr schönes pool und eigenes kleines Lido (gratis) am Meer! Küche und frühstück sind gut und üppig! Zu Fuss kann man auch ohne weiteres andere Restaurants Bars gelatterias ... erreichen, gute Strassen sind nicht weit! Bravo weiter so...!

Good value for money, friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly, breakfast better than anticipated. Price / value ratio was very good. The only downside is that during off-season al the surroundings are deserted. When looking for it on in-car navigation one must look for Casalabate, not Lecce as it is quite out of Lecce, direction north.
