It was a very nice, clean small motel at a great price. You had to drive to the downtown area which was fine for us. Great spot to stop when travelling in that area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed 2 nights. It was in a great location and easily walkable to the ocean and downtown. The staff were helpful. The room was cozy and clean. Only thing missing for us was a microwave. This would have been helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

A very clean room, close to the downtown Historic area and the shops and restaurants on Water Street. Sue was especially helpful with touring suggestions and restaurant and coffee shop recommendations. Definitely share a bowl of Salmon stew at the hotel by the wharf; and have dinner on the wharf overlooking the water with its spectacular sunsets - don't forget your camera. Save room at dinner for some delicious ice cream on Water Street. We hope to return soon!

The property and its owners were delightful. The motel was outside of the downtown core so it made for a peaceful and relaxing environment. It’s a 3 minute drive to the centre of town where you can take advantage of the restaurants and shops. We chose to walk and enjoyed seeing some lovely homes and the occasional deer. Lots of local excursions to take advantage of. We would highly recommend staying at The Picket Fence your next visit to St. Andrew’s NB. You won’t be disappointed. Gary and Sue

Great place!! Classic “motel” - gotta love the easy drive up to the room. Vince was terrific at check in and recommended several restaurants. We chose The Herring - great fish and chips and a variety of local beers to choose from. Checked out in the morning with more recos for places to stop en route north - Blacks in Harvey - yummy cookies. I’d totally stay at the Picket Fence again. And close to Water st. - either a short walk or a shorter drive so very handy.
