"We had a fantastic stay at Miners Cottage for one night while attending the Eden Sessions. It was absolutely perfect for the four of us. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. "We stayed for 2 nights. The building has a brand new feel (probably becuase it is - almost - having suffered a fire a few years ago) and is decorated and furnished to a high standard. It is close to a reasonably busy road but our room was at the back and it was very quiet. There is a huge car park. Our room was large and comfortable and well "specced". We had a couple of problems, namely that 1) wifi wasn't working in the hotel for guests. It was down until the evening of day 2 which was a pain (we reported it at 3pm check-in on day 1) as we couldn't get any phone signal inside the hotel 2) the safe wasn't working which was a minor issue but batteries were on order so it wasn't fixed during our stay. Despite those issues we would stay again. The walk along the Pentewan trail starts next door to the hotel and is a lovely flat c2 mile route down to the coast."

"Gwyndra was a lovely clean B & B. My room was spacious and comfortable. It’s in a great location with the train and bus station over the road and a short walk into town. It has a real family run feel and I had such a lovely welcome. I really liked being able to customise my breakfast as I am quite a fussy eater. I would definitely love to stay next time I am visiting my friend in the area."

"Best about the accomodation is being on top of the hill overlooking the sea. Comfortable for a group of 4 persons. Nice hot shower, spacious twin bedroom with bath, cozy place to rest at the end of the day after Eden project and St Ives. Malcolm and Linda were reached able via mobile and email. We didn't have a car but the flat is near St Austell train station, it’s about 25 mins walk. There are buses.But Taxi difficult to book, long waiting time."
