This is also a means to visit Mt Cook and vicinity on a budget."

Nicely appointed and very clean accommodation but in this day and age the least expectation would be a small microwave and a sink in the room. Found plates, cups and cutlery but not ideal having to wash up in the bathroom and Ranfurly doesn't have many places to eat out at night."

"Your emails are incorrect & your information way out of date. This hotel has closed down months ago & you have failed to keep us accurately informed. This would have been just awful if we had arrived in the dark in the middle of no where Omarama. The hotel was deserted locked up & obviously unkept when we arrived. Fortunately Distinction Heritage Gateway was able to fit us in & receive us & transfer our Expedia booking."
