"Room was very clean and very comfortable. Our room had a separate living room with couch & coffee table. It was nice to watch a little tv &/or eat on the couch, NOT laying in bed. Room had a wet bar type sink with refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker in between the living room & bedroom, also very convenient. We brought snacks and sandwiches so we could eat light lunches and enjoy dinners out. Beds & pillows were very nice and exceptionally comfortable for both my husband and me. I have back problems and arthritis and the bed was perfect for me & caused no aditional discomfort. I woke rested with no increase in back or other pain. Breakfast was great. Yogurt, fruit, biscuits, eggs, sausage and more & a fascinating pancake machine turning out fresh, hot, delicious pancakes at the press of a button! I was fascinated so I'm certain children would love this machine & the pancakes it made in seconds. My husband and I traveled alone, no children, but I would imagine kids would enjoy the hotel and amenities. They had fresh free cookies in the lobby . afternoons. They had a small "store" with beverages. We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. We saw the sites, museums, sound studios, etc. in and around Florence and the hotel was very convenient to most attactions we visited. We would gladly stay at this Holliday Inn Express, Florence, again if in the area. Oh, they also have a heated indoor pool on the first floor but we stayed too busy to swim, sadly. Next time!"
