"Everything about this hotel was excellent. The room was spotless clean (except the table hadn't been washed down as I ended up with sticky jam on things that were set on the table). The bathroom was especially clean. The kitchen had a set of dishes, utensils, pot and pan. There was also a wash rag, dry towel. . . but no soap. The fridge was cold. The staff was okay, they didn't stop conversations, in person or on phone, to greet guests checking in or out. That bothered me. While they were not rude, I wouldn't say they were friendly either. I did not feel welcomed by the lack of attention while checking in. . . I'm not baggage going through claims. . . I'm a person. I would stay there again, with the expectation of no engaging. The area is congested, but I was there long enough to know what time to leave for and return from Baton Rouge to avoid it. It is better to go around the side road to the signal to turn left onto the main highway instead of doing it so close to the exit ramp from US 1-10. "
