Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Wayne North by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"Tried 2 different rooms. Both not clean. Blood on sheets. Hair everywhere. Finally had front desk give us new bedding and pillow cases. No staff available to change bedding. Woman at front desk was kind and apologetic. Seems serious staffing and employee issues exist."
"Parking easy and the room was nice. The hallway carpet was uneven, the hot tub was not working. The staff are nice and helpful and the common area was quite nice"
"I like the Wyndham properties over the cheaper budget hotels because they are more comfortable and I don't like motels with room doors that go directly outside. The staff was very welcoming and the Fort Wayne area is, at least, not 'Ghettoville USA' thankfully. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and I liked the free coffee and breakfast in the morning. It's a basic breakfast, but with restaurant prices these days, it saves you some money."
"I stayed here with my daughter and her two friends for one night. The woman at the front desk was soooo sweet and sooo patient with me. I left my keys to my room twice so I had to have her make me two keys. She was patient and kind. She even let my girls swim 45 minutes past the pool being closed. Overall, I was very appreciative of her generosity.
The room was very cute! I wish the TVs were a bit bigger. It was hard to watch them at night. The room I was in had a pull out couch with no pillows or blankets or sheets so we had to go ask for some. There was ability to hang a towel on the towel rack on the back of the door because it had a screw hanging out and the other one was barely holding it to the door. It was very loose.
Another thing is that there wasn’t really any trash cans. There was one through the whole room. It was a bigger room made for multiple people so it definitely needs one more added in to help with cleanliness.
Overall I enjoyed my stay! I would come back for sure "
