Great location. Very clean. Nice staff. My only suggestion would be to call ahead and see if the restaurant is open. It was closed while we were there for dinner and we had checked out the menu before we arrived and we’re looking forward to eating there.

Loved the location, shower water was hot, bed was comfortable, lots of place to store items, loved the cafe on site. Negatives: didn’t like having just one key, fluorescent lights on the air conditioner made sleeping difficult, full length mirror directly facing the toilet, TV volume was very low so hard to hear TV.

Great stay location very central. Only complaint is the parking sign on the Lott which is halfway down the block should have a much more visible parking sign especially at night. Other than that no real complaints

We liked the location-close enough to town to walk. The free continental breakfast was great. Parking available if you rent a car. The bar/restaurant on site was great for breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant staff were super. Overall, The Inn at Tamarind Court was the perfect place to stay for our first trip to St. John.

Great place to stay, don’t expect a resort!

Tamarind Inn is a great place for a family on a budget to stay. It’s no frills but safe and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is an afterthought and not substantial. However, they do offer, for the best price in town, the best breakfast for the money in St. John. All the locals will stop by to eat breakfast here. So if you are a family on a budget, this is the place for you! We had a great time with the Tamarind as our base.

I am a older female traveler and found the single room accomodations at Tamarind perfect for my sojourn through the National Park at USVI. It was such a joy to find a room perfect for a single traveler. The location, parking, food, and room was perfect for me.

The property location was great. It was outside of the middle of town, but close enough to walk to/from everything. It was also right next to a great breakfast/lunch take-out bakery to aid in your daily outings. The Inn's restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast, dinner, drinks and the live music were perfect. We especially enjoyed the BBQ night.

Price you’re paying for this stay is really about the convenience of being in St John, within walking distance of all bars, restaurants and the marina. The room we had was sufficient for what we needed it for, comfortable. Continental breakfast was a nice add on, and fresh. Our room had a very nice, spacious bathroom. Beach towels and chairs were available to take off property with you.
