"I travel frequently and stay in a large number of hotels every year, including luxury and lifestyle properties. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.
I specifically chose this property because of its Autograph Collection affiliation and expected a level of service and quality consistent with that brand. Upon arrival just before 3:00 PM, I was informed my room was not ready. After confusion surrounding a room upgrade & multiple delays, I did not gain access to my room until approximately 8:00 PM.
The issues continued throughout the stay. On multiple nights, I was awakened by excessive noise from neighboring rooms at various hours of the night & early morning. I repeatedly requested assistance and was told I would be accommodated in another room. I even advised the hotel that if they could not guarantee a quiet room, I would prefer to move to another property. Despite these conversations and assurances, no meaningful solution was ever provided.
Adding to the frustration, there were two occasions late at night when neither the front desk nor emergency line answered the phone. Because I have an injured foot, I was forced to walk a considerable distance to the front desk for assistance, which further aggravated my injury. More importantly, it raised serious concerns about guest safety should a legitimate emergency occur.
The rooms are also dirty and not well maintained. I don't recommend this hotel and advise Marriott to remove the autograph name."
