Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites St. Louis Riverport - Airport West
6/10 Okay
"Upon arrival it didn’t look bad. The staff I encountered first when checking in was polite and fast with getting me the room keys. I’m guessing that was around shift change.
The rooms appeared to be nice and clean but there was a shortage of towels, rags, no sheets for the pull out sofa bed. On the app it says under their amenities a crib can be provided if requested.
Started trying to ring the staff maybe 45 minutes after scoping the rooms and no answer at all.
Walking around looking for the amenities. Found a guest key card took it to the front desk lady and I realize she was counting money, so I waited. She looked up so, told her about finding the key. She said oh you can throw that away. I told her I wasn’t aware, they usually ask them to be turned in. Well I had laid it on the desk and she repeated you can throw that away before I walked off. ATP I forgot about room towels. Entered pool area 2 towels to split in between the guest. Go back to the room try to call desk again about getting towels so we could shower and no answer. Pulled back the shower a rag falls off the top of the shower curtain. They do have the fixtures that hold body wash and hair care on the wall. But the body wash one was empty. Walked to desk and no one came out. Another guest was saying hello, to grab attention and it just didn’t grab anyone’s.
Price wasn’t bad. Outside of the hotel was appealing. The customer service just wasn’t there for me.
Breakfast provided and my family enjoyed."
"I've frequented the Best Western Plus in Westport Plaza, Maryland Heights property during the past two years: The staff is client friendly, they assisted me on multiple occassions! The rooms and common areas were clean, and breakfast food choices were plentiful.
Travelers should consider reserving a room at this Best Western Plus location.
Sincerely,
J. Weaver, Central Florida Resident"
"This staff is super friendly, personable and kind in greeting and helping if you need anything around the area!!
Willing to check us in early with a room that’s available. Thank You"
"The whole hotel smelled of patchouli oil. There was a long hair in the sheets when I pulled down the bedding the toilet ball seat had burn marks in it. There were no amenities to comment on the furniture was bare-bones. It looked like the tub had been updated by slapping up some new tile and poorly redoing the grout. The man at the front desk was very nice. That is the only good thing I have to say. I would not stay here again."
