"This was an incredible hotel. The staff, especially the vet were amazing and very accommodating. We loved the pool and hot tub and sauna. And the restaurant on the third floor called Fluke was one of my favourite experiences."

"Nous n'avons pas rencontré le propriétaire mais les communications étaient faciles et fluides. Le logement était une belle découverte. La chambre était charmante. Il y avait un micro-onde, une bouilloire et de quoi se faire un café et un thé. Il y avait de vraies cuillères et non en plastique, ce qui est très agréable. Bravo pour cela. En arrivant le soir, si vous avez faim, il y a un restaurant de cuisine asiatique qui doit être tenu par le même propriétaire. L'endroit est calme et bien entretenu même s'il faudrait penser à refaire la baignoire car cela doit être un bain à remou mais ce n'est pas très bien entretenu. Pour le reste, rien à redire. Il y a même une terrasse avec une petite table et 2 petites chaises mais sans anti-moustique c'est impossible d'y rester."

It is the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed and wish you could stay longer. We truly enjoyed every moment and would happily come back again. "Dalvay has all the old world charm imaginable, great staff - Alexandra, Emily and Sarah were standouts. But that charm could benefit from some serious improvements, especially as relates to food service - an unchanging, very limited and robust (not friendly to lighter appetites); the same applies to breakfast - limited and emormous servings. No fruit bowl, upcharges if you just want a bagel, juice only if you ask for it. Since Dalvay is in a national park, you must drive miles to find other, more varied food options - and nothing nearby for breakfast. So you end up being hostage to their restaurant. They might consider offering a light bite dinner and/especially breakfast. Also, why not offer boxed lunches to their visitors?"
