"The location of the hotel is close to the train station and near many transit lines, and the core transit is free for tourists. You can walk to many sights, like Parliment Building. Other sights are accessible by streetcar or bus. The #12 bus to the Zentrum Paul Klee is like a sightseeing route up the hills. There are numerous cafes and restaurants and shops nearby. One thing to note is the very small old cage-like elevator. The room has windows that open, however we did get a mosquito in our room and had to close the window. The breakfast buffet selections are pretty standard with choices of rolls, cheeses, fruits, yogurt, granola/cereal, and boiled egg (no hot options). There is a small grocery and a Starbucks very close."

"Great location, excellent breakfast, near key historical sites, many many shopping places for clothes, chocolates, watches, food markets and train station within one block. Somewhat crowded in the area because of train station and quite a few beggars but seems safe area. Room was partially below ground and view looked out upon a bunch of large air ducts."

"Very clean, and in a great location! Bed was comfy, and also the best smelling bed sheets I’ve ever slept in on the road. I do not know what they launder their blankets in, but I would like to know. Staff was friendly and helpful, would stay again."

"You can book, check in, and check out without ever speaking to another person… if that’s what you like, it’s great! We certainly missed the human contact. Otherwise, it’s a good place to stay. The fire alarm was triggered while we were here (no big deal, just an alarm), which isn’t a problem except the stairwell door wouldn’t open to the lobby without a key card even while the alarm was going off, which is pretty concerning considering a lot of folks didn’t have their keycard in their pyjamas at 22:00."
