Opal Sands Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Opal Sands Resort was and outstanding spring vacation destination. Service, cleanliness, and beautiful surroundings made for a wonderful vacation. The food at Opal Sands was very good. It was worth every cent. It can get a little noisy from the street traffic at times. I would highly recommend Opal Sands."

Gulfview Hotel on the Beach
8/10 Good
"Great pool and beach area."

Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Suites
6/10 Okay
"My family and I stayed for three days. The location is excellent, very quiet at night while still being within walking distance of everything. House keeping was daily and perfect. The room was large with a kitchenette. Beach access is extremely convenient, just a quick crossing of the street, which was never an issue.
However, the room was noticeably dated and in need of quality repairs. I hope that ownership gives this hotel the remodel it deserves."

SkyBeach Resort

"When I checked in on Friday afternoon, I asked the customer checkin person if there was going to be live music that night. He said yes. I also asked him if I could extend my stay by one day. He said the hotel was full for Saturday night. As it turned out, there was no music. Also, the hotel was not full for Saturday night; I checked on-line to learn there were still rooms available for Saturday night. Just incredibly lazy responses that cost the hotel another night from me."

Island Grand at TradeWinds
10/10 Excellent
"We had a room overlooking the beach! Our room was very comfortable. Amazing staff. Very accommodating. Our room was very clean. We would highly recommend this resort to families! They have so much for the children to do. I'm excited to go back again and enjoy St Pete's beautiful beach!!"

Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach
8/10 Good
"Wyndham Clearwater Beach was a mixed experience. The location is great—right across from the beach with beautiful views—and the bed was very comfortable. Ocean Hai was a standout and definitely worth visiting. However, there were several downsides. The staff didn’t feel particularly friendly or welcoming. My room had a noticeable odor at check-in, and while they addressed it, someone came at 8:30 PM after I was already in bed to spray deodorizer, which wasn’t ideal. Fees add up quickly with parking and the resort charge, and the included beach umbrella isn’t much of a perk since it’s comparable to renting directly and doesn’t include a cabana. Food on the property was disappointing—room service tasted like low-quality, microwaved food (runny quesadilla with nacho cheese, bland potstickers), and a veggie egg wrap from the coffee bar was inedible (though they did replace it with yogurt). Coffee was good, but overall food quality was poor, and gratuity is automatically added at a high rate. Great views and location, but service, fees, and food quality would make me think twice about staying again.

ChartHouse Clearwater Beach Marina Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is a new property located on the Marina. The room was spacious, neat and clean. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay here. Areas that could be better would be opening the poolside bar and cafe earlier. It is very nice however it opens too late, therefore there is no place on property to get coffee or have breakfast. There is no signage indicating where the entrance is for unloading and the front doors are not very prominent. Some arrival signage would be great. Lastly, the safe in the room is very tiny. It is designed for keys and wallets. Something like an iPad or laptop will not fit. "

Clearwater Beach Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is exactly what it seems to be: a no-frills budget option among luxury properties in the same area. My room was small and basic but clean and freshly painted. For a solo traveller over two nights, it was just enough. I wouldn’t recommend for families or long stays. The pool and dock area were lovely. The location is ideal, although traffic noise from the nearby strip was significant. I don’t gather you can get away from that on Clearwater Beach weekends. Staff was very hospitable and friendly. "
