Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey

"I was somewhat annoyed that neither Hotels.com or the hotel gave us any warning about the long-term renovations which must have been planned when we made our reservation a long while back - we were informed 10 days before our arrival! That said, we were upgraded into a room with a sea view and experienced no problems - we were out of the hotel 09.00-18.00 Thurs-Mon. The room was spacious with a great view across the bay, clean, comfortable bed, kettle & drinks, quiet fridge, quiet a/c, effective black-out curtains & private bathroom. Wifi fine, large TV. Only niggles with the room were the smoke/fire detector at night flashing up in the ceiling a bit like a disco & weak water pressure in the shower. Staff were helpful & friendly. Breakfast well stocked with a good range. Parking plentiful. The Terrace is open but restricted due to the building works & we were unable to find seating in the shade on our 2 attempts to use it. The hotel is about 10 mins walk (via the gap by the commercial swimming pool & pizza restaurant nearby). The ferry to Elizabeth castle is about 5 mins walk. We found it easy enough to walk in & out of town or to drive around the island from the hotel. Good position to walk to the Battle of Flowers arena along the Esplanade. Would be happy to stay again if in the area."

"An excellent hotel, the staff were helpful and the cleanliness of the rooms was good, the only thing to mention is that the pool needs some work done on it, there were tiles missing and some cracks around the edges"

"We have stayed here a few times now and the experience is always the same and that is enjoyable The staff are very firendly and no task is too much for them. Buffet breakfast is just delicious and well worth getting up for :-) All in all, we have enjoyed our 4 night stay, yet again and already looking forward to when we can visit again"

"Hotel is very dated old wooden panels in bed rooms etc, carpets thread bare and stained, bathroom dated, we had one of the Golden rooms (room 411) quite expensive. The hotel is very noisy weekend with live music playing outside in it's bars. BUT, very well situated close to all amenities and close to the ferry port for trips."

"A very nice hotel and convientley located for Public transport. Nice to have indoor and outdoor swimming pools available. Breakfast options were very good and easy to serve yourself at the buffet. Staff were very helpful and professional. A great stay."

"Stayed 4 nights with two teens. They loved the pool and garden. Itโs a bit outside of St Helier so a car was useful. Pool bar and snacks were good but expensive. Didnโt stay for dinner as a 3 course menu only from 6.30-8pm which was more suited to the package holiday crowd. There was 70s style entertainment in the evenings."
