"This was a stunning castle to stay in. The frescoed ceilings were gorgeous. Loved every minute that we were there. The staff were wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is to add a vending machine and maybe to offer pastries in thr morning. "

"A nice clean place to stay with a good sized kitchen. Old building with lots of charm but new modern kitchen appliances and updated bathroom. "

"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."

"A lovely stay at this property with our 2 year old.The apartment had everything we needed and communication with the host was very good There are steep hills to access the property by car or foot so bear that in mind but we managed fine with a pram and a car its just worth noting Handy to have laundry facilities on site aswell. "This was a great place to stay in Florence just outside the downtown area with the train right in front and a short ride to all the tourist attractions in the center of town A shopping mall a block away and a nice park right on front I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Florence "

"Wonderful stay at this very convenient hotel. It is very close to the Florence airport. Walking there is a little tricky because you have to cross several very busy roadways. I managed it, but only with some anxiety. Even though it's very close to the airport, you may want to take a taxi. But for me, I just couldn't pass up a 14 minute walk after a nine hour flight. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom quite modern. The free breakfast was really nice and set me up for a great day. I had a lovely morning run at the park that is very close by. There are some wonderful trails along the Arno river. I would definitely stay again, especially if wanting to be close to the airport and not the centro storico. But one could stay here and take a bus in and out of the historic center."

"Incredible off-season stay. The breakfast each morning was incredible. So much better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. Fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was amazing. The Villa itself is a renovated Renaissance property and all around are little reminders of its glorious past. We were too early for the pool (starts in June) but I have a feeling that’s why we got such a great deal. The views from the decks are incredible and it’s close to Florence. The roads are windy and narrow, so be careful! But one of the roads down from the Villa revealed a spectacular view of Florence. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Would gladly return. "
