The old man of Storr Scotland The Storr is prime example of the Trotternish landslip, the longest such feature in Great Britain. The area in front of the cliffs of the Storr is known as the Sanctuary. This has a number of weirdly shaped rock pinnacles, the remnants of ancient landslips. One of the most famous of these is known as the Old Man of Storr. "The room and common areas were very nice here and felt clean. We loved our room and the bed. Great bathroom and shower. The hotel does have a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner but we felt it was expensive. There’s obviously lots of cafes and trinket shops around in Portree. I will warn that there are only stairs here so big bags could be difficult or accessibility concerns. Parking is right in front if you are able to get a spot. "
